# Collaborate with Your Team on Docs

> Invite teammates to your Mintlify workspace, assign roles, and collaborate on documentation with real-time editing and commenting.

Mintlify makes it easy for teams to write and maintain documentation together. You can invite workspace members, assign roles that control what each person can do, and collaborate on pages in real time. This guide explains the available roles and how to add collaborators to your projects.

## Team roles

Each workspace member has one of three roles. Roles determine what actions a user can take across projects and workspace settings.

| Role | Permissions |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Owner** | Full control over all projects, workspace settings, billing, and member management. Can delete the workspace. |
| **Editor** | Can create, edit, and publish pages in any project. Cannot change workspace settings or manage billing. |
| **Viewer** | Can read published docs and leave comments. Cannot create or edit pages, and cannot access project settings. |

Owners and Editors can collaborate on drafts in real time. Viewers are ideal for stakeholders who need to review content without editing it directly.
